I am a photographer from Ann Arbor, MI. I began working in still photography at the age of 15. I quickly developed a liking for documenting the happenings in my life and my community. Life is my inspiration; interesting things happen all the time and they are worth remembering. I choose to capture them in photographs so there is a record of their existence.
My general style is to capture moments in a way that separates them out from their chaotic surroundings. The world is a messy, crazy place full of strange and exciting things. Often, parts get lost in the insanity around them. The little details are sometimes hard to notice, even when they have more power and interest than the whole. I take it as my duty to give a voice to those details, representing them in a way that gives them the clout they deserve.
